Maverick City Music is an American contemporary Christian worship music collective that is making waves in the gospel music industry.
Since its inception in 2018, Maverick City Music has had an undeniable impact on the gospel music industry. In 2021, Maverick City Music received a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for their album “Old Church Basement.” In 2023 the group received four Grammys for Best Gospel Performance/Song (“Kingdom” feat. Naomi Raine & Chandler Moore), Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance (“Fear is Not My Future” feat. Brandon Lake & Chandler Moore), Best Contemporary Christian Music Album (“Breathe”) and Best Gospel Album (“Kingdom Book One” Deluxe). At the 66th Grammy Awards, Maverick City Music was nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song (“God Problems”) and Best Gospel Album (“The Maverick Way”).
