WICKLIFFE, OHIO—(July 23, 2014)—The FEST 2014, hosted at the Center for Pastoral Leadership in Wickliffe, has announced its music lineup for Sunday, August 3 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. This year, The FEST features top, national Christian recording artists: Third Day, Mandisa, Colton Dixon, and For King and Country. The FEST is FREE and open to all in our region.

“We love playing events like The FEST because we are music fans first and foremost,” said Third Day guitarist Mark Lee. “It is a huge honor to share the stage with other artists we love, such as Colton and Mandisa. Music is such a powerful part of faith. It provides a direct connection to the heart, so you’re able to communicate and reach people in a way that you can’t through any other means.”

The FEST is a free, all-day event consisting of faith, fun, and family. The amazing, outdoor family festival is sponsored by the Diocese of Cleveland and organized by a team of 1,400 volunteers. Last year more than 37,000 people joined together for an incredible day of inspiration and family fun.

The FEST also includes more than 150 games, activities, and displays for the whole family including the Mom’s Relaxation Station, sponsored by Marc’s (featuring more than 150,000 giveaways), the Dad’s Den, sponsored by Cub Cadet, a special youth rally, BMX bike riders, and more.

“We are excited to welcome such talented musicians to our stage this year to celebrate faith and family,” said Father Bob Stec, organizer for The FEST. “This year’s theme is ‘CHOSEN,’ to represent God choosing us to make our world a better place.”

There will be an activities area for children and young adults, helping them better understand that God has chosen each of them to do something special. The day will include Project CHOSEN – an opportunity to choose and support an orphan child in the Congo and Project OVERCOMER, a program created to celebrate those who have overcome adversity, sickness, and struggle.

The FEST concludes with a Catholic Mass at 8 p.m. followed by an American Fireworks display.

Over the past 14 years, The FEST has become a highlight of the summer and a great family day with free admission, free parking, and free treats thanks to the support of Medical Mutual, Marc’s, Sherwood Foods, PNC Bank, and Notre Dame College.
