Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of death. Amen.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
As I care for my patients today be there with me, Oh Lord, I pray. Make my words kind – it means so much. And in my hands place your healing touch. Let your love shine through all that I do, So those in need may hear and feel You. Amen.
Mighty Healer, I bring our doctors before you. They are our earthly healers. Thank you for the good work they do and the sacrifices they make for the sake of the patients. Bless the work of their hands. You are the ultimate healer and through them, we receive our physical healing. Guide them in making the correct diagnosis and in the treatment of their patients. Let their successful treatments and patient satisfaction bring glory to you. Amen.
Healthcare Workers during the Pandemic
Loving God, we place into your care all our doctors, nurses and healthcare workers. Give them courage of heart and strength of mind and body. Keep them safe from harm. May they know our deep gratitude for all they are doing to heal and help those affected by the coronavirus. God of all consolation may they know your protection and peace. Bless them in these challenging days and bless their families. Amen.
Dear God, through the intercession of our patron, Saint Florian, have mercy on the souls of our comrades who have made the supreme sacrifice in the performance of their duty, and on all who have gone before us after years of faithful discharge of their responsibilities which now rest on ourselves. Give us Grace to prepare each day for our own summons to Thy tribunal of justice. Into Thy hands, O Lord, I commend my spirit. Whithersoever Thou callest me, I am ready to go. Merciful Father of all men, save me from all bodily harm, if it be Thy will, but above all, help me to be loyal and true, respectful and honorable, obedient and valiant. Thus fortified by virtue, I shall have no fear, for I shall then belong to Thee and shall never be separated from Thee. Amen.
Oh Almighty God, whose great power and eternal wisdom embraces the universe. Watch over all policemen and law enforcement officers. Father in Heaven please give them the strength, courage and perseverance to endure the unjust condemnation, danger, and physical abuse to which they are at times subjected. We recommend them to your loving care because their duty is dangerous. Dear God, grant these brave men your almighty protection, Unite them safely with their families after duty has ended. Amen.
Almighty God, Lord of Hosts, we call out to you as the One who is sovereign over all. Watch over and protect our nation’s military members and their families. Sustain them with your everlasting arms. Take into your most gracious protection our service members currently deployed. May you be their comfort and their guide as they live and walk in a foreign land. Give them reassurance that you are a shield around them, an ever-present help in time of need. Grant our service members courage so that in all things they may serve without reproach. Encourage them while they also encourage one another. Amen.
Prayers for Virtue
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace: where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.
God of wisdom, I call upon You and know that You will answer me and tell me the great and unsearchable things that I do not know. I thank You for divine understanding that reveals to me the things that I do not understand. I pray for patience and understanding in all areas of my life: my workplace, my home, my relationships, in all things. I thank You for allowing me to see things like You do. Amen.
Heavenly Father, how I bless and thank You for the glad tidings of great joy that were given to all people, through that angelic host so many years ago. Thank You for Jesus, and the joy and peace that floods the hearts of all who have believed in Him, the rock of their Salvation. Eternity is too short to praise and magnify Your glorious name for all Your goodness and love towards me, and to all who are called by Your name, for in You is the fullness of joy. Help me to share this joy of knowing Jesus with all those who You place in my path, and I pray that throughout the world there may be many sinners today who are saved by grace through faith in the shed blood of Christ Jesus, so that they too may experience the joy which is freely available to all who believe in the gospel of grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Tender Jesus, so meek, so mild, teach us to be like You in all our ways. Teach us kindness, gentleness, generosity, and to be giving, forgiving, loving and caring. Teach us to follow in Your humble footsteps. Guide us to the place You want us to be, take control. Mold and shape us into the brilliant beings we were always destined to become. Amen.
Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference. Amen.
Peace & Justice
Dear God, You have given all peoples a common origin. It is your will that they be gathered together as one family in yourself. Fill the hearts of mankind with the fire of your love and with the desire to ensure justice for all. By sharing the good things you give us, may we ensure an equality for all our brothers and sisters throughout the world. May there be an end to division, strife, and war. May there be a dawning of a truly human society built on love and peace. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord. Amen.

God, I know only you can help this pain vanish away. I plead for peace and serenity as I fight off the pain I am feeling. Send your hand down to me and fill me with your strength. I cannot take this pain any longer without your help! Release me from this hold and restore me. I trust in You to give me the strength to get through this. I pray that the pain will be gone! It will not hold me down because I have the Lord on my side. Amen.
Today Father, as I grieve for the loss of my loved one, I find comfort in the fact that You too grieve for him/her. You have watched soul after soul after soul fall prey to the enemy’s lies. Thank You, Lord, for opening my ears to Your words, my eyes to Your truths and my heart to Your message. Thank You for allowing me to understand what truly awaits the ones who choose not to come. Thank You for the ones who sought me out to share the glorious news of eternal life through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Father forgive us for being selfish with Your message of hope. Open our eyes to see the people of this world through Your eyes, so that we would move with urgency, carrying Your Banner of Hope, until the whole world hears. We ask these things in the Sweet Name of Jesus, Amen.
Loss of Mother
God of Immeasurable Mercies, by your power, Jesus conquered death and ascended in glory. I entrust my mother into your care, in the name of Jesus Christ. As my mother has departed to live for eternity with you, I thank you for the memories I have. I thank you that she was made in your image and reflected your love. You are the Lord of all life, you brought my mother into existence and you have now called her home. I pray that she will enjoy the fullness of your presence through all eternity. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Loss of Father
Father of Life, I thank you for my father. He was such a blessing to me while he was still with us. I still miss him so much. I thank you for what he left me as gifts of love and faith. I pray that he has enjoyed your embrace and that the relationship he and I have now might someday be renewed with you in heaven. Until then, I entrust him to your love and ask you to let him look out for me and to assist me to stay on the path to you. Amen.
Dear Lord, I come to You today to ask for help. You are my everything. Lord, I need rest. I give You my worry. Take it, Lord. I accept Your peace, love, and understanding. Help me to turn to You and not to myself. Help me to stop doing and start trusting. Help me to wait on Your answers, because I know that they are good. Give me wisdom, hope, and peace. Thank you, Lord, for Your patience and grace. I love You, and I know You love me so much more than I could ever imagine. Amen.
Oh Lord, let me hear you. My soul is weary. Worry, fear, and doubt surround me, on every side. Yet your sweet mercy cannot be held back from those that cry out to you, hear my cry. Let me trust in your mercy. Show me how. Free me. Free me from anxiety and stress, that I may find rest in your loving arms. Amen.
