Circle of Courage

Create your own Circle of Courage! How do you belong? How do you master things? How are you independent? How are you generous? Create each piece of your circle to remind yourself as you grow each day!

Courage Comes In Many Languages

Courage Comes In Many Languages

Cut, fold, and tape your own courage box! Place something in this box that reminds you to have courage. Keep this courage box somewhere you can see it everyday to remind you to have courage.

Courage Cup

Courage comes from those around us. Make a prayer cup to remind yourself to pray for the people that show you courage. Take a stick out each day and continue to pray for them!

How often do you pray the rosary? Take some time to learn the Mysteries of the Rosary, how to pray the rosary, and

Heart of Courage

Heart of Courage

Jesus’ love is everywhere. It gives us courage. Take a black cord and put it through the 2 holes in the button. Glue the heart to the button. Wear this heart as a symbol of faith and love and to help you remember to have courage, no matter what happens.

Snapshots of Courage

Snapshots of Courage

God says “I am with you.” This is just a little book to remind you of all the places God goes with you…everywhere! Fill this book with pictures of the phrases and times God is with you. This could be done using digital photos on your smartphone, by putting printed photos into this small photo album or drawing events in this book.

Hero Cuffs

Hero Cuffs

Heroes are everywhere. They save others from danger. There are also everyday heroes. They are there when you need them. You can be an everyday hero to someone. Make these hero cuffs and you will be ready to show you are an everyday hero! Connect your hero cuffs using paper clips. Make sure to add your superhero symbol to them too! Be sure to try and help someone everyday and save them from danger.

How Can I Show Courage

How Can I Show Courage

We do so many things each day that require courage…getting up and talking in class, going to the doctor, facing others, sharing our faith… Draw a picture of how you can show courage. Draw a picture each day until you have 5 pictures. Put them up and say the prayer on the prayer card each day that you will have courage when you need it.

Light On My Path

Light On My Path

Are you struggling to find courage? What are you afraid of? What will help you find courage? Think of a quality that will help you find courage in your life. At The FEST, there will be a large lighthouse to write on. At home, e-mail louise@thefest.us and we will put your name and what you need to find courage on there for you!

Courage Clips

Courage Clips

Hard days are going to come your way…how you handle them makes all the difference. Write an encouraging and uplifting quote on each clothespin. Place them in your car, on your purse, on your backpack, in the kitchen… anywhere you can see them. Keep repeating the saying to yourself and things will get better!

Helping Hands

Helping Hands

Many people are poor and have no food. Fill the bag with non-perishable items. Color a “Have a Nice Day” card. Drop them off at your local food bank, Helping Hands, or St. Vincent DePaul. You could also use the bag to pick up trash or think of another way to make your neighborhood a better place.
